IV Therapy

Intravenous (IV) therapy is the slow infusion of a liquid directly into the bloodstream through a vein, being one of the quickest and most efficient ways to provide vitamins and minerals but also medications and fluids to your body. Bypassing the digestive system and liver, increasing the absorption and delivering to the cells and tissues of the body. Even with small discomfort caused by the puncture of the needle, it is just for a few seconds. After that, you can relax and enjoy the time you are taking care of yourself.

Different nutrients and combinations are made for giving antioxidants, supporting the liver and metabolism, boosting the immune system, and energizing.

Some indications are Migraines, Chronic infections, illnesses, Chronic allergic problems, Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Depression, Rheumatoid arthritis, Ulcerative colitis and Chronic asthma to name some.

IV Therapy may help to boost the immune system, support detoxification pathways, assist recovery, healing process and relieve pain.

Usually IV therapy is recommended once or twice per week at the beginning, then weekly or every other week. Usually you need four or five treatments consequently. Then it can move to  monthly or when the symptoms get worse or the energy decreases.

MIC -Lipotropic injections

Lipotropic injections are a combination of vitamins and nutrients that support  and optimize fat metabolism. MIC may help to reduce adipose tissue because the ingredients are involved in the homeostasis of energy production from the fat. Intramuscular injection increases the bioavailability. Injections can be administered up to twice a week. Usually it should be a part of a supervised weight loss program that involves diet and exercise.

Pain management

Pain management refers to a therapy that is directed at ameliorating pain and suffering and improving health-related quality of life in patients with pain. It includes analgesic, anxiolytic and non-pharmacological treatments.

Perineural injection therapy

Prolotherapy

Neural therapy

Belkyra (Deoxychicolic acid)

Belkyra or deoxycholic acid, is a molecule naturally found  in the body for breaking down the fat and facilitating absorption. When Deoxycholic acid  is applied into the fat under the chin, the fat cells are targeted, destroyed and naturally eliminated by the body. Belkyra is administered by multiple injections into the fat under the chin. Treatment session is typically 15-20 minutes. Local anesthetic is applied previous to the injections. Usually 3-6 treatments are required, performed 4 weeks apart based on the results and patient’s desires.  The most common side effects are swelling, bruising, tenderness, numbness, redness that may last up to 1 week. Belkyra very rarely can lead to serious side effects, including trouble swallowing and nerve injury in the jaw that can cause a temporary uneven smile or facial muscle weakness. Patients will begin to see results in the following 6-8 weeks after their treatment.
